Artifacts

Artifacts are based on Native American clay vessels.  These vessels did not have a flat base since a flat surface was rarely availableThese hollow forms find their own center of gravity.   The gaping holes are undulations in the natural material which leave bark-surrounded openings in the vessel. They represent a fragmented ancient vessel.
